Välkommen till vår träff med Kennie Nybo Pontoppidan, som är utvecklingschef för Rehfeld, en av Danmarks största Business Intelligence företag.

Kennie kommer att tala om hur man hanterar komplexa Business Intelligence-miljöer med 98 kommuner som använder 7 olika typer av datakällor och upp till 5 system per datakälla. Presentationer lämpar sig för Business Intelligence arkitekter, Business Intelligence utvecklare, DBA:er och utvecklare. Träffen är begränsad till 30 deltagare.

The state of being so divided

How do you design a data warehouse for the handling of management information in seven subject areas for all 98 municipalities in Denmark? Especially when there exists up to five different IT systems per field, and that the municipalities can use the systems differently. Add to this a requirement to change the business rules for each municipality, and the ability to report on one municipality, while data for another municipality is updated.

Kennie Nybo Pontoppidan is a database/BI consultant currently working for the company Rehfeld in Denmark. He has worked in the dangerous field between developers and dba’s for the last 6 years and done his part of performance mistakes as a developer before that in his 12 years in the it industry. He enjoys working with databases (Oracle and SQL Server) and really, really enjoys working using sql. He holds a master degree in pure math, statistics and theoretical physics and a second master degree in it-management. Kennie has no humor.
